The incumbent will be responsible for providing support on the execution, monitoring and evaluation of Smart Passenger Security Screening System (PSSS) project at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). This is will be a contract position based in Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) office at HKIA. The incumbent will report directly to the Manager, Security Projects of Airport Security Team at AAHK for the entire duration of the contract.

 

The Opportunity

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the PSSS operations with related parties during the screening equipment replacement
  • Attend to site for monitoring of PSSS replacement/ installation progress
  • Manage and support the project implementation with AAHK technical teams (including but not limited to Technical Services Systems, Technical Services Infrastructure and Information Technology, etc.) to review the work contractor’s submissions, progress reports, additional drawings and specifications, as-constructed drawings, O&M manuals and witness all mock-ups/ factory tests, etc.
  • Work with different departments, consultants, and business partners to ensure the PSSS project will be completed in a timely manner
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders for attending meetings, review and distribute the meeting records to stakeholders
  • Assist on investigations and follow-up actions for complaints, claim cases and/or insurance related matters during project implementation

Is this role right for you?

Qualifications & Experience required:

  • Degree holder in Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines
  • Minimum of 4 years in project management experience for multi-disciplinary infrastructure / building project involving various stakeholders and work interfaces; experience in airport security operations is an advantage
  • Strong project management, problem solving and analytics skills
  • Independent, open-minded, good interpersonal and organization skills
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is preferred

This position will be on a contract basis for 2 years to work on site entirely under the management and supervision of AAHK which may be lengthened or shortened subject to project development.
