The Opportunity
As a BIM Designer at Arup, you will:
• Work on diverse projects at various stages, from planning and appraisal to detailed design and construction (RIBA2-4).
• Take ownership of 2D drawing 3D modelling production processes using Revit.
• Prepare accurate and detailed 3D model/drawings to support technical designs, adhering to approved standards(BEP).
• 3D model environment/template set up and family edit/creation. (Revit Mainly)
• Communicate effectively within a collaborative team environment, including colleagues, project managers, and other design disciplines.
• Ensure 3D model data accuracy for asset management and schedules for a project.
• Implement quality assurance procedures for all deliverables.

Is this role right for you?
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or relevant professions.
• Ability to interpret and understand basic Architectural, Structural, and MEP engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in BIM related software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, BIM360, ACC, Navisworks with experience of running clash detection, and producing clash reports.
• Knowledge of Dynamo for Revit and the ability to read and write scripts is preferable
• Good communications skills, both written and verbal in English and Mandarin with the ability to work effectively with engineers, construction teams and design leads.
• Experience producing and coordinating 3D models and high-quality 2D drawings in line with project standards.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 information management requirements, including experience running model audits.
• Previous working experience as a BIM Coordinator on medium/large scale projects in Revit and associated technologies is preferable.
