We are seeking an Asset Management Consultant to join the New York City or Washington DC office. The Asset Management practice is part of Arup’s Management Consulting practice which is focused on advising businesses and governments on complex and multidisciplinary challenges and improving the direction and performance of their operations, assets and people. You will apply in-depth asset management knowledge and skills to support the delivery of a range of client projects, focusing principally on transport, water and energy infrastructure.

The Opportunity  

This role will deliver on a range of projects with major property and infrastructure owners and will give you the opportunity to leverage your skills to resolve problems and recommend solutions on projects.

We are looking for people with a foundation of technical knowledge who are looking to move into a growing team and work on a broad range of exciting projects. You will help deliver projects providing strategic and operational advice to asset owners.

Other key duties will include working closely with clients to understand their needs and challenges. You will build on your technical knowledge and provide general and technical advice to asset owners drawing on experts from across Arup and the supply chain partners as required. You will also build and maintain positive client relationships through the provision of timely and quality technical advice and be commercially minded delivering project success.

Is this role right for you?

     BSc in relevant subject or relevant work experience in asset management.

     Minimum 2 years of experience in asset management or infrastructure consulting, management consulting or engineering

     Capability of processing and analyzing data to identify issues/trends and develop solutions.

     Experience in the following areas: asset management planning, asset management maturity assessments, capital planning, conduction facility condition assessments, and understanding of Enterprise Asset Management systems.

     Capability in supporting proposals for clients by understanding their requirements and drawing together expertise from across a multi-disciplinary firm.

     A background in transport, water and/or energy infrastructure asset management, preferably within a consulting role.

New York Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in New York is $90,000  to $105,000 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of New York City will differ.
