The Opportunity
Working in close collaboration across the finance functional areas in the Region and Global Financial Accounting Team.
As a member of the Global Finance Function, you will be responsible for the timely provision of clear and accurate information, underpinned by the principle of one version of the truth.
Responsible for the daily operation of your areas of responsibility; the control environment; compliance; the provision of accurate and timely data to other finance teams; and working with Shared Service Centre’s where needed. The role will also ensure alignment, coherent accurate and insightful reporting, and accounting practices to support the needs of those areas you have responsibility for and our external stakeholders.
- Working with the Financial Accounting Leader to deliver timetabled activities. Including but not limited to:
a. Interim and year end reporting.
b. Creating a work plan, establishing expectations and timelines to prepare for audits, etc. - Coordinating the management of the External Audit relationship and reporting requirements for your areas of responsibility.
- Preparing Board Paper reports and memorandums.
- Ensuring all relevant end to end processes are documented and maintained.
- Identification of local deviations from Global Accounting Policies / Standards.
- Recommending process improvements / internal controls.
- Managing the implementation and oversight of controls.
- Being an ambassador of maintaining an internal control environment related to the areas of responsibilities.
- Challenge current ways of working and encouraging innovative ways of working across your areas of responsibility.
- Developing strong relationships built on trust with colleagues, including Regional Finance, Global tax andCompany Secretarial teams.
- Delivering to deadlines when working under pressure.

Is this role right for you?
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics or related fields
- 5+ years of experience in audit or similar accounting role
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA Thailand)
- Technical experience in end-to-end External Reporting, Finance and Statutory Accounting environments.
- Knowledge of Finance systems that support reporting and accounting processes.
- Knowledge of Thailand tax requirements.
- Computer literacy in MS Office including deep experience in Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of JDE and other SAAS applications would be advantageous but not a prerequisite.
